Hey, I'm Joel, And I can't Wait to help Capture your Story
I’m Joel, I married my incredible wife Sophie (who is also the other half of Team JSP) We live in Richmond North Yorkshire with our three awesome; though slightly feral kids – Mia, Seb and Harper, plus a loopy fox-red Labrador Jessie.
I love funky house music, have been known to get my decks out for parties (I even DJ’d for glory hour at my own wedding!), make a mean Smoky Old Fashioned, love to drive my Caterham through the Dales on a sunny day and get wrapped up in house renovations when I get a break – amazing what you can teach yourself via YouTube!
I also love weddings – so much so that Sophie & I got married twice; one simple and intimate in the UK & the other took me on a drive through rural Spain with a tree tied to the top of my Landrover!

Which brings me to you and your day – captured as a collaboration between us to create our story; your trust in me built from knowing that you love my work; and to create this whilst you enjoy yourselves too. My photographs are real – with some direction to help you feel at ease; designed to make you feel beautiful and elegant, yet natural and unscripted. I want to showcase the in-between, honest moments of joy and love, as well as the effortlessly chic, editorial portraits created with my vision. Most importantly; I want to do this with laughter and fun along the way to make you feel relaxed in front of the camera so that you enjoy your day.

there is so much to a wedding day and it’s my job to capture the important images for you.
And that’s what I do – yes we’ll have fun along the way, but I’ll have my eyes on the camera and on what’s happening around me, watching what is happening and making sure I’m in the right place to get the best shot.
And if you do need a little guidance, I’ll be there to help and offer advice when you need it.
